Why The LX Lens exists

I’m an LX leader and writer with more than 25 years of experience across mental health, alcohol and other drugs, suicide prevention, homelessness, human rights, community development and public service reform.

I created The LX Lens because I kept seeing thoughtful organisations trying to involve lived and living experience well, yet struggling to turn good intentions into meaningful influence.

My work spans lived experience leadership, research, service design, strategy, evaluation and organisational change. The LX Lens brings that experience into practical resources people can use independently.

The focus now

The LX Lens is developing a focused set of resources for review, evaluation and consultation. They bring project planning together with clear questions about LX purpose, influence, support, interpretation and follow-through.

Personal project reviews and ongoing advisory support are not part of the current offer.
